Laura is a Facialist and Reiki Therapist who’s purpose is to provide a safe, tranquil space for her clients’ to switch off and rest, whilst she intuitively designs the treatment to meet their skin, body and energy needs.

Having spent over 20 years working as a Freelance Make-up Artist with well-known faces from celebrites, TV Presenters and Models. Laura’s passion of making someone feel their best has always been a priority. but it was the realisation of how calming having your make-up done is that when Laura re-trained to become a Facialist and Reiki Therapist lead her to design The Sculpting Reiki Facial. Laura believes that Clients now look for and need more from their beauty treatments. As awarness of Holistic and alternative treatments continues to rise, Clients are beginning to turn to more natural skin rejuvenating techniques, skincare and want to feel truly cared for.

Society is filled with busy schedules, home environments and congested minds, be it from social media over consumption, constant comparisons, or negative news that affects how we feel. Therefore, the need for a moment of pause and lowering the volume is high. Laura also recognises that every client has different needs and these needs can vary every time they visit, meaning no Facial is ever a ‘paint by numbers’ method.

The Sculpting Reiki Facial has been described as more of an experience and ritual compared to traditional Facials, with real, transformational skin results. Working with a variety of techniques ranging from Facial Gua Sha Fusion, Massage, Thai Herbal Poultice, Facial Cupping and LED Light Therapy. The additional layer of this treatment is Laura’s blend of Crystal Reiki Therapy infused throughout, which not only invites a deeper state of relaxation, but also works deeper to clear stagnation within the energy system. The blend of soothing, flowing and rhythmic movements, brings calm to the parasympathetic nervous system and often lulls clients to sleep or to seeply restorative relaxation, whilst the more stimulating sculpting elements work to release tension build up in the muscles and skin tissue, to maximise flow of circulation, lymphatic drainage and energy, whilst also leaving the skin glowing and facial features contoured and lifted with a look of rejuvenation.
